RECAP: Adria holds 1st with 1:0 Win Over Carpathia FC!
STERLING HEIGHTS, MI (June 20, 2016) – On Saturday, RWB Adria headed down to Sterling Heights, Michigan to take on Carpathia FC for the second time in this Premier League of America 2016 season. In one of the hottest days of the year so far, the game was paused a few times during the first half but little momentum was stopped. In the first half however, neither team managed to put one in.
As the second half went underway, RWB Adria took a far more dominant stance against the home team Carpathia FC. By the 63’ minute, Adria’s Huffman dribbled Carpathia’s last man and then beat the goalie on a one-on-one giving Adria the 1:0 lead. Carpathia FC continued to fight and had several attempts which were stopped by Adria’s goalkeeper Sliwa. The end result was 1:0 for RWB Adria.
RWB Adria’s next game is scheduled for June 25th against Oakland County FC at 7:30 pm in Oakland. Stay tuned for more updates! –
